Built in 1750, this Kings Road boozer has a wealth of history in and around its prime seafront location. Formerly Star & Garter Hotel it boasted famous guests such as Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin and King Edward VIII and is rumoured to have blocked up secret tunnels running to town hall and even the odd friendly ghost.
